Updated September 4, 2026. Calculator results are estimates only. They are not loan offers, approval decisions, or final payment disclosures.
A loan payment calculator helps you estimate how much a loan may cost before you apply. It can show a rough monthly payment, total interest, and total repayment amount based on the loan amount, APR, and repayment term you enter.
A calculator cannot tell you whether you will qualify, what rate a lender will offer, whether fees will be deducted from the loan amount, or whether a lender will approve the amount you request. Only the final lender disclosures and loan agreement control the actual terms.
Start with the smallest amount that solves the real need. Then compare at least three terms, such as 24, 36, and 60 months. A longer term may lower the payment but increase the total interest. A shorter term may save money but require a higher monthly payment.
Use the US Patriot Loans loan calculator, then compare the result with the education pages for personal loans, business loans, and debt consolidation.
